Mondiall Kitchen & Bar is open seven days a week, offering breakfast, brunch, lunch, cocktails and dinner. The restaurant formerly known as ‘The Green Dolphin Jazz restaurant’ underwent a complete and inspired transformation under the direction of owner Patrick Symington, in a prime Waterfront setting with spectacular harbour and Table Mountain views. Cape Town’s ‘hippest’ restaurant in the V&A Waterfront, has a relaxed brasserie style and awesome cocktail bar right on the harbour’s edge – the perfect setting for a life style eatery and very easy to pass the afternoon away with champagne and oysters, watching the harbour and yachts with Table Mountain as the backdrop.
The main floor is at the heart of Mondiall with the kitchen flowing naturally into the central dining area to allow direct interaction at all times. Use of black leather, antiqued mirrors and herringbone pattern textile in this part of the building references back to the glamorous ‘old ways’, while showcasing a confident contemporary reinterpretation.
The Mezzanine floor features a private function room and Chef’s Table for up to 24 guests that can be transformed into an exclusive private dining area.
Mondiall offers all-day dining to suit all occasions and tastes and has become a firm favourite with Cape Town locals. The eclectic brunch menu is available every day from 10:00 – 16:00 with a culinary journey around the world awaiting dinner guests (18:30 – 22:00) every evening.
